Qualifications:
We need people with experience in tech writing for infrastructure components, who have expertise developing user education materials for software on Solaris, Linux and other major UNIX platforms. Strong background in documentation design and development is a must, as is professional experience with contemporary tools such as Vason and XMetaL.
We are looking for an someone who has great initiative, is action-oriented, enjoys working in global teams with challenging priorities and schedules to deliver against, who is an excellent and passionate communicator, and loves working with bright and talented people that will challenge them every day. Bachelor's degree in computer science desired, and 3+ years experience in related work.
Responsibilities:
This role spans several groups. We are responsible to deliver components that will be used by several leading products to manage their application agents. Design, develop and maintain high-quality documentation for distributed client and agent management infrastructure components with a focus on a team approach, with flexible work requirements and schedule. Be fully responsible for design, development and delivery of agent management documentation that meets diverse and sometimes conflicting product requirements. Identify and resolve issues early in the process and work to mitigate impacts of those found later in the process. Identify, evaluate and learn new technologies rapidly and build and deliver components using those technologies.
Success Factors:
The person in this position will be a key contact for subject matter experts on application agents in complex Enterprise operating environments. They will be involved in the product process from end to end, working closely with Product Management to understand and clarify requirements, develop and review detailed documentation plans with their immediate peers, work closely with their development and QA counterparts to develop information content, and review with Technical Product Managers, Systems Engineers and application developers who will need to understand the implementation in detail. This person will also be available to front line Support professionals to respond to questions and concerns and to quickly address and provide solutions for problems that are found.
2. Junior/Senior QA Engineer
Major Responsibilities:
Improving the skill set of a Grade C SQA Engineer; plus: Ability to give technical presentations to internal teams. Ability to give clear, technical presentations to customers. Works closely with customers and understands their issues and needs. Listens to customer needs and is able to turn these into requirements that are added to the product Works closely with other functions in the organization to create solutions that can be used by multiple groups. Ability to lead a group of engineers through design and code inspections that are efficient and useful.
Position Requirements and Education:
8-12+ years (3-5for QA Engineer)- Advanced at utilizing a structured programming language to interface with existing project source code, commonly referred to as a "test harness." Expert in SQA methodology Track record of specific application this knowledge to resulting in project success. Track record of isolating complex issues at the subsystem, project, cross project or cross tier level. Specific contributions to building team strength through talent acquisition or mentoring. Certifications; Java, CISSP, SSCPMCSE, CNE and other like certifications relative to IT.
