EMC: Bridging the Small and Medium- Sized Business (SMB) Gap

    RFG believes IT decision-makers at SMBs should not neglect consideration of the underlying storage infrastructure even as initiatives such as "information lifecycle management" (ILM) gain a wider foothold in a growing number of businesses. ILM implementations will, in many cases, be enhanced or diminished by the platform infrastructures they complement. Therefore, being able to draw upon a depth and breadth of enterprise storage offerings is key, as requirements will force the infrastructure to change over time. Those SMB executives responsible for IT should ensure that their chosen vendor partners are able to offer proven storage platforms upon which such enterprise initiatives should be built.
