The white paper will address how the dramatic increases in bandwidth speeds will transform networking in a low latency, high throughput computing infrastructure into a new computing model, called transport offload. Transport offload is the key enabler that will make the transformation possible by providing an architectural means of overcoming the significant overhead associated with processing the TCP/IP protocol stack at gigabit speeds.
